Creating football champions

For boys & girls 9 – 12 years old
BFA players are invited each year to join our two weeks football tour to Rio de Janeiro in Brazil. The tour includes 25+ hours of training across two weeks.
Typically, the mornings start with futsal practice. In 2018, the players got to train with Vasco Da Gama’s U’10s and U11’s. Coordinator Victor Pereira from Vasco did an excellent job, dedicating two weeks to coach our players and help them to focus on their techniques and skills. The afternoons on the tour typically focus on football practice. In 2018, our players trained for two weeks with Vasco’s U’11 team, the best youth team in Rio de Janeiro 2018 as they won the state championship undefeated.
In 2018, our players also got the chance to try beach soccer at the world-famous Copacabana beach. We had the honor to have two Brazilian world champions running the practice, Sidney Souto (4 x world champion and Marcelo Bueno (3 x world champion).
To make the most out of the tour, we also include a lot of fun activities to do in between and after our training sessions. In 2018, the players got to watch two live football games at Maracanã stadium and Engenhão stadium. We also went to visit the Christ the Redeemer statue and the Sugarloaf Mountain.
